Nursery Check-In Process

Your Child's Health
We are asking if your child has a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, cough, diarrhea or any other sickness, that you do not place your child in the nursery.  Thank you for respecting others.

When You Arrive At Your Child's Room
A leader will be there to greet you, and to receive your child and his/her things.  Please check-in and note any information that will help in caring for your child such as feeding time, sleeping time, allergies and special needs.

Snacks
Snacks are provided for the crawlers.  Items consist of water and cherrios.  If your child has any allergies, please let our leaders know when you check-in your child.

Saying Good-bye
After you have completed the check-in process, simply wave a quick goodbye and go enjoy the worship service.  Please know, it is normal for little ones to cry when leaving.  This does not last long, and separation becomes easier over time.  Our leaders will create interest in a toy or activity and give assurance that you will return after the service is concluded.  If your child cries over an extended period of fifteen minutes we will page you with a pager provided to the parents.

Checking On Your Child
Feel free to check on your child at any time during the worship service.  We ask that you be discreet to avoid interrupting others in the service.

Pick-up Procedures
Your child's leader will expect the same person who drops the child off to pick up your child.  Special instructions are given at check-in.  Please make sure that all your child's items have been returned to you when you leave the classroom, and that your pager is left with us.
